With the new Restyled looks and a Powerful V6 engine, Mercedes-Benz strengthens Indian portfolio

Mercedes-Benz India launches the all new E-Class Cabriolet for an expressive price of 78.5 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. The extensively restyled and updated Cabriolet joins the E-Class line-up of the successful brand providing full range of cabriolet, wagon, sedan and coupe models in India.


The new E-Class Cabriolet offers space, luxury with multiple choices for color of the soft top for customers – black, dark blue, dark brown and red. Also, impresses the occupants with AIRCAP system while driving with the top down. The AIRCAP technology functions like an ingenious system consisting of a wind deflector on the roof frame and a special draught stop extends the flow curve over the passenger compartment.

Packed with a more powerful V6 (six cylinder petrol) 3.0 Litre engine, producing peak power of 245kW [333hp] @5250 – 6000 rpm, matched to an optimized 7-speed automatic transmission that communicates high level of comfort with driving pleasure and efficiency. The E-Cabrio comes with selectable driving modes that can be operated through economical to dynamic modes. Sporty drivers can have a little fun through the paddle shifter.


The new E Cabriolet features India first-launch of cloud-based Mercedes-Benz Apps: unrestricted internet surfing, access to Mercedes-Benz Radio, TuneIn Radio, Weather, Audio News, Facebook etc. Externally, the headlights are now in a single compartment with intelligent use of LED technology resulting in very low energy consumption, and safety in all traffic and weather conditions, new taillights, a brand new grille and new front and rear bumpers.

 Soft top of the convertible features an integrated textile drainage channel in the outer side edges for water to pass through. The fabric top can be opened and closed when the car is at a speed of 40 km/h in just 20 seconds, ideal for the climatic conditions in India where downpours happen suddenly.
