In the month of September 2022, carmakers are lining up new SUV launches as Hyundai, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Toyota and Kia are bringing in new products in the compact and midsize SUV segments. With the rising popularity of both segments, manufacturers are responding by either launching new SUVs or refreshing existing models. Here are the five upcoming SUVs next month in India:

1. Hyundai Venue N Line:

Launching on Sep 6, the Venue N Line will sit at the top of the range and it has already been partially revealed. It will be powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine developing 120 PS and 172 Nm, paired with a seven-speed DCT. Besides exterior and interior enhancements with contrast touches and black finishes, it will have a sportier exhaust system and tuned suspension.

2. Mahindra XUV400:

The Mahindra XUV400 is the electric SUV based on the XUV300 compact SUV. Based on the same X100 platform, the XUV400 will be longer by around 200 mm and it will be equipped with a 150 hp capable electric motor. Expect the claimed range to be around 400 km while features such as a larger touchscreen with AdrenoX and ADAS tech alongside a design inspired by the eXUV300 concept will be available upon launch on September 8.
