Honda Rebel 300 India Launch, Price, Engine, Specs, Features, Mileage, Top Speed 1

Among the upcoming exciting bikes from Honda, one is the Rebel 300 that was debuted at Long Beach International Motorcycle Show in November 2016. Later the bike was patented in India in 2017 and now it seems that the Japanese two-wheeler giant could bring it in later part of 2018. Upon arrival, this motorcycle will compete with tough rival like Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350.

As the brand is aiming to grab pole position in Indian two-wheeler market by 2020, new high performance premium motorcycles will play crucial role in the bid. Expect the Rebel 300 to be a very important product from the brand once it hits Indian market. This motorcycle comes with an attractive styling combined with modern features, advanced technologies and all of that could arrive with an attractive pricing.

Initially, it was thought that Honda will roll out cruisers in the 300 cc – 500 segment cc of Indian motorcycle market that will be built indigenously. But, as the two-wheeler major already has models like Rebel 300 and Rebel 500 in global market, these products can be launched here easily and that is what happening here. The motorcycle gets round shaped headlamp, wide handlebars and a single-pod instrument cluster with digital display.

A raised and sloping chunky fuel tank is there adding masculinity to the motorcycle. It is expected to get a single seat configuration. However, there would be provision for fitting a pillion rider seat as well. With a low positioned seat and wide handlebars he Rebel 300 will be able to offer more control to rider. Expect a compact LED taillight at the back of the motorcycle. Braking duty will be done by disc brakes on both wheels, while ABS could be there on offer.

Power source for this motorcycle will be a 286 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke PGM-FI engine sourced from Honda CB300R. This engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox and expect generous amount of power and torque output to tackle the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350. In an attempt to lure the buyers toward it, Honda is likely to price it competitively.
