Mahindra XUV500 W10 Automatic receives new features including keyless entry and start/stop button
Mahindra XUV500 is the flagship SUV of the Indian SUV automaker. The company has introduced two new features to the top end trim of the car. The Mahindra XUV500 W10 automatic has received new features like start/stop button and keyless entry. Despite adding new features the price remains same though.
The Mahindra XUV500 comes in both the manual and automatic transmission options. And till date these features were offered only in the W10 manual version. The W10 is the top end trim for Mahindra’s flagship SUV. This car gets power from a 2.2 litre mHawk diesel engine mated to a 6 speed automatic gearbox. It churns out 140 bhp of peak power at 3,500 rpm and 330 Nm of peak torque in between 1,600 rpm to 2,800 rpm.
The automatic gearbox was introduced to Mahindra XUV500 in November, last year. The car is sold in several overseas markets alongside the Indian domestic market. The car bears a price tag of Rs. 17.36 lakh. The other trims available in the XUV500 are the W4, W6 and W8. The car is available in both the Front Wheel Drive (FWD) and All Wheel Drive (AWD) configurations.

This new engine was introduced to withstand the diesel ban in Delhi-NCR. This same engine and the 6 speed automatic gearbox is available in the Delhi-NCR spec Mahindra Scorpio as well.
