Apollo has revealed Intensa Emozione hypercar; its naturally aspirated V12 engine generates massive 780 hp power
Apollo has revealed its new hypercar the Intensa Emozione in Italy. The supercar not only comes with an instant attention grabbing design, but it gets an awe-inspiring powertrain as well. The Apollo Intensa Emozione is based on a carbon fibre monocoque chassis like many other modern hypercars. This way, it comes pretty lightweight and strong as well. Only 10 units of this model will be built and pricing for each unit is $2.6 million.
The Apollo Intensa Emozione also carries carbon fibre front and rear sub-frame. As the automaker claims, the whole sub-frame weighs only 105 kg, which is pretty amazing. Like any other hypercar aerodynamics has been a prime priority for this model and Apollo has designed the Intensa Emozione keeping that in mind. It features a massive front splitter, dive planes, various channels across the entire body.
Apollo Intensa Emozione also gets vents on its hood, flanks and rear along with gullwing doors. There is a large rear wing. Inside the cabin, it gets race-spec steering wheel, sport seats. The car weighs 1,250 kg and thanks to the design, the car is able to stick to the ground even during high speed cornering. It also gets 45:55 front:rear ratio weight distribution. Like the chassis, the bodyframe too gets extensive carbon fibre elements.
Speaking about its performance, the hypercar is able to run at a top speed of 333 kmph. It can accelerate to 100 kmph from standstill position in just 2.7 seconds thanks to the massive naturally aspirated 6.3-litre V12 engine that is coupled with 6-speed Hewland sequential transmission. This engine is well capable of churning out enormous 780 hp of peak power and 759 Nm of peak torque.
The braking power is delivered by Brembo carbon ceramic brakes with 380×34 mm six piston calipers up front and rear sporting 380×34 mm four piston calipers. For suspension duty, the hypercar is equipped with F1 inspired double wishbone with full push-rod and rocker arm architecture at both front and rear along with adjustable anti-roll bars. It also gets adjustable Bilstein dampers.
