7 New Car Launches In Coming Weeks – 2 Sedans, 1 MPV, 3 SUVs

Carmakers like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, Honda, Toyota, Citroen and Lexus will launch new cars in India over the next few weeks

Over the next few weeks, a host of carmakers will bring in new vehicles to the domestic market across different segments and price ranges and here we have listed all of them:

1. 2023 Honda City Facelift:

The facelifted Honda City will go on sale early next month and it will get minor cosmetic updates to extend the lifespan of the existing generation. The strong hybrid variant will see its range expanded this time around. We do expect the midsize sedan segment leader to gain some new features as well.

2. New-Gen Hyundai Verna

Hyundai will officially launch the new generation Verna on March 21, 2023 in India. It will come with a brand new exterior based on the Sensuous Sportiness design philosophy while the cabin will also be thoroughly redesigned. It will also feature a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and no diesel engine will be available.

3. 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta Diesel:

The bookings for the 2023 Innova Crysta opened just a while ago and the MPV returns back with a redesigned front fascia but no other visual changes have been made. It will be sold only with a 2.4-litre diesel engine, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. It will also go on sale in the coming weeks.

4. Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG:

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG made its market debut at the 2023 Auto Expo last month and it will be launched in the coming weeks in India. It is equipped with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder mild-hybrid petrol engine and expect it to be offered in multiple variants. It will appeal to customers wanting to own a fuel-efficient compact SUV.

5. Citroen eC3:

The Citroen eC3 will have its prices announced soon in India and it will likely be priced around Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom) to take on Tata Tiago EV. It uses a 29.2. kWh battery pack and an electric motor capable of 57 hp and 143 Nm driving the front wheels. The compact electric hatchback has a claimed driving range of 320 km on a single charge.

6. Lexus RX:

The fifth-generation Lexus RX was unveiled at the biennial Auto Expo and it will be launched in the coming weeks. It will be retailed with two strong hybrid engines: a 2.5-litre turbocharged petrol and a 2.4-litre turbocharged petrol. It will be offered in RX 350h Luxury and RX 500h F Sport Performance guises.

7. Updated 2023 Tata Harrier, Safari:

Only yesterday, Tata Motors announced the commencement of bookings for the updated Harrier and Safari and it will launch next month. They gain equipment such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a seven-inch instrument console, ADAS-based driver-assistive and safety features, etc. The 2.0L diesel engine has been updated to meet BSVI stage 2 emission norms.
