Maruti Suzuki will bring in Fronx compact SUV coupe and Jimny lifestyle off-road SUV in the coming months

In the remaining months of the 2023 calendar year, we will see plenty of new models arriving in the Indian market. Here we have mentioned seven of the most awaited cars that are waiting to be launched:

1. New-Gen Hyundai Verna:

Hyundai will launch the new generation Verna on March 21 in India and its bookings are taken already. It is based on the latest Sensuous Sportiness design philosophy taking plenty of inspiration from the global Elantra. It also gets a brand new interior with a host of segment-first features. A new 1.5L turbo petrol engine producing 160 PS is part of the lineup.

2. Maruti Suzuki Fronx:

Maruti Suzuki will announce the prices of the Fronx next month in India. The compact SUV coupe is based on the Baleno premium hatch. It derives power from a 1.2L petrol and a 1.0L turbo petrol engine with manual and automatic transmission options. It is packed with features and draws heavy styling influence from the Grand Vitara mainly in the front fascia.

3. Honda Midsize SUV:

Honda will introduce an all-new midsize SUV based on the modified version of the Amaze’s platform by the middle of this year in India. It will have a lot in common with the fifth-gen City and will share the 1.5L NA petrol and the 1.5L strong hybrid petrol engines with the midsize sedan. It will also feature a new electronic architecture.

4. Maruti Suzuki Jimny:

The production of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny will commence next month for the domestic market ahead of its launch around May or June 2023. The lifestyle off-road SUV will take on the upcoming five-door Mahindra Thar and it will be equipped with the 1.5L K15B petrol engine. It will be paired with a five-speed MT or a five-speed AT sending power to all four wheels as standard.

5. Kia Seltos Facelift:

Reports indicate that the facelifted Kia Seltos will hit the market by the middle of this year or in the third quarter. It will get cosmetic revisions and more features like ADAS inside the cabin. A new 1.5L turbo petrol engine will be made available and it will be linked with a six-speed MT or a seven-speed DCT.

6. Tata Punch CNG:

The Tata Punch CNG will go on sale later this year and it was showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo in January in Greater Noida. It will be powered by a 1.2L petrol engine and the twin-cylinder arrangement will not sacrifice the bootspace.

7. Hyundai Creta Facelift:

The heavily updated Hyundai Creta is expected to go be launched towards the end of this year or in early 2024. It will get a thoroughly redesigned front fascia and rear while the interior will gain a host of updates. It will also be powered by a new 1.5L petrol engine.
