2019 Jaguar F-Pace SVR has enhanced aerodynamics and tuned mechanical components to deliver 542 hp and 680 Nm from the tuned 5.0-litre V8 supercharged engine
As if the F-Pace S version with 0-96 kmph in just 5.1 seconds is not enough, Jaguar has now revealed a brand new range-topping SVR model. Debuting at the 2018 NYIAS (New York International Auto Show), the 2019 F-Pace SVR uses a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged engine that runs other performance-oriented models within the brand’s lineup such as Range Rover Sport SVR and F-Type.
In the F-Pace SUV it pumps out a maximum power output of 542 hp and 680 Nm of peak torque. The engine is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to all the four wheels. The resultant surge in performance is that the high-performance SUV can go from zero to 100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds before reaching a top speed of 283 kmph.

Compared to the standard F-Pace, the SVR model gets a lighter exhaust unit courtesy of Jaguar’s Variable Valve Active Exhaust System. In order to harness optimum performance, the chassis has also been reworked to deliver sporty handling and agility. The steering response has been tweaked, so does the bespoke suspension set-up.
Some other significant changes include a set of lightweight forged 21-inch alloy wheels, stiffer springs and upgraded 395 mm front and 396 mm rear disc brakes. Customers can option out 22-inch alloy wheels as well with 25 mm wider rear. Besides the optimised AWD, the Jaguar F-Pace SVR also gets Electronic Active Differential and SVR-tuned electronic power steering.

For bettered aerodynamics, SVR has introduced an unique bonnet, front fenders with air vents, new front bumper with big air inlets, new lower body moldings, exclusive roof-mounted spoiler, quad exhaust system and an air-vented rear bumper. The revisions on the inside are substantial as well as the F-Pace SVR gains sporty SVR-logo embossed front seats with lozenge quilting for increased support.
The sculpted rear seat is accompanied by Sport Shift Selector on the lower part of the centre console, SVR badged multi-functional steering wheel with aluminium paddle shifters, 10-inch Touch Pro infotainment system and 12.3-inch high-definition instrument panel among others. It will be sold across the globe in the coming months and has a price tag of $79,990 (Rs. 52.06 lakh) in the United States.
It has a good chance of entering India towards the end of this year or in early 2019 considering that the SVR version of the F-Type is already on sale. Currently, the standard F-Pace is retailed in a single trim for around Rs. 60 lakh (ex-showroom).
