2018 Yamaha Fascino gets updated front grille, new ‘F’ stickering and revised body graphics; powertrain remains the same

Yamaha launched the Fascino for the first time in the Indian market back in May 2015 and it quickly became the brand’s bestselling scooter. Targeted at fashionable young customers, the Fascino received a minor update last year with the inclusion of mandatory AHO feature and the engine becoming BS-IV compliant.

The changes were accompanied by subtle exterior updates like the blackened front apron and the front forks, alloy wheels as well as grab rails painted in black. Capitalising on its popularity, Yamaha introduced four new dual-tone colour schemes and mildly revised graphics of the 113 cc scooter to complement its modern-retro styling last year.

Yamaha took to the stage at the 2018 Auto Expo with an updated range of Fascino.

The 2018 Yamaha Fascino features revised body graphics that are more fluid and attractive. However, the most prominent change is the chrome plate up front, positioned above the slats, becoming sharper than before. It houses the signature Yamaha badge like the outgoing model. On the front apron, there is addition of ‘F’ sticker signifying the Fascino nameplate while the seat is new with beige and brown dual-tone theme. The overall design is accentuated by the newly shaped white grab rail which has been raised for better sport appearance.
