Ford EcoSport has been one of the most successful and most popular products from the American brand in India. Since its introduction in the domestic market, this muscular compact SUV has been able to grab attention of the buyers. Despite tough competition from Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Hyundai Creta, Ford EcoSport managed to fetch consistent sales number in the country. Now, Ford is all set to roll out the refreshed facelift version of the car that comes with several significant design updates both at exterior and inside the cabin.

Speaking about its design, Ford EcoSport receives a new updated hexagonal front grille with plenty of chrome garnishing and honeycomb mesh as well. The headlamps come with revised appearance and featuring projector lamps along with integrated LED daytime running lights. The fog lamps too come with revised unusual shape and a new bumper is there as well along with a skid plate.

Moving to the dies profile, Ford EcoSport facelift gets flared fenders, new design alloy wheels, turn indicator integrated ORVMs, black glass area, subtle character lines. The side body cladding, roof rails enhance its sporty appeal further. Moving to the back of the SUV, EcoSport facelift sports tailgate mounted spare wheel, wraparound taillights and a chunky bumper as well.

Inside the cabin, refreshed EcoSport gets a completely revamped look thanks to the introduction of the new large SYNC3 touchscreen infotainment system with various connectivity options. Apart from that, the car sports a new multifunction steering wheel, updated instrument cluster with analog and digital display. The contrast coloured trims at the dashboard, doors enhance its appeal further. Seat and upholstery material quality has been improved. The car comes with several new features as well.

Not only updated exterior and interior, Ford EcoSport facelift will also introduce the new Dragon series engines in the country that comes with several advanced technologies in order to deliver smooth and impressive performance. The 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine has been instrumental in the making EcoSport successful. It is expected to continue in the new model and there will be a new 1.5-litre Dragon series petrol engine offering smoother performance. On diesel front, the car will get 1.5-litre TDCi oil burner. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic unit.
