UM Scrambler X is expected to arrive Indian market in coming future; could prove a business booster for the brand
UM Motorcycles has unveiled a couple of exciting products at the 2017 EICMA in Milan and one of them is the Scrambler X endure bike. The motorcycle manufacturer displayed two models based on the same platform and the other one is the Café Renegade. Speaking about the aggressive looking UM Scrambler X, it is likely to arrive in Indian market in coming future. Interestingly, this is the brand’s most affordable adventure bike with a 125 cc engine.
At the Milan event the brand displayed various range of products that include two scrambler bikes, an electric cruiser, an on/off-road adventure bike and a Vegas version of Sports S. The most surprising thing is that the brand has displayed Renegade Commando Classic, Renegade Commando, Renegade Sports S and a Commando Mojave with 125 cc engine.

It is clear that UM Motorcycles is aiming to tap the 125 cc segment that is by far the lowest segment in which the brand is penetrating. Speaking about the UM Scrambler X endure bike, it could be very attractive product and business booster for the motorcycle manufacturer if priced rightly in Indian market. Thanks to the 125 cc engine, this is going to be a very affordable product from the company.
The adventure bike gets LED headlamps, a compact instrument cluster. Flat and wide handlebars come offering greater control to the rider and they sport the wing mirrors positioned at the tip. A muscular fuel tank is there with thigh pads located at sides. It sports low positioned seat ensuring comfortable riding experience and better control over the machine.

The narrow tail section gets sleek taillights while there are dual hard panniers mounted at side of the bike. The tuned exhaust enhances its boldness and the bike runs on multi-spoke wheels with gold rims and wrapped with off-road tyres. It boasts petal disk brakes both at from and rear wheels coupled with ABS.
Suspension duty is done by long travelling upside down front forks and long traveling monoshock absorber at rear. While this model gets a 125 cc engine, we can also expect a 300 c version of the bike in Indian market that will be able to grab attention of many buyers who look for a powerful adventure bike.
