TVS has introduced a new colour variant to the Jupiter Classic scooter. The special edition model now gets a new matte brown paint scheme alongside the gloss gold colour. However, pricing remains unchanged at Rs. 55,551 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The homegrown two-wheeler manufacturer believes, this new colour variant will increase the appeal of this scooter.

Despite the standard Jupiter being a popular model in India, TVS introduced a special edition adding some retro feel to the model. Jupiter Classic features a tall windshield, round shaped chrome finished wing mirrors. There are chrome garnishing at various other places as well. The scooter also sports a dual-tone seat with stylish stitching and a pillion backrest as well.

The TVS Jupiter Classic gets a stylish appearance that is visible from every angle. Compared to the standard model, the special edition version comes with interesting graphics as well. Power source for the scooter is the same 109.7 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine coupled with a CVT. This motor is capable of kicking out 8 bhp of peak power at 7,500 rpm and 8.4 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.

As the two-wheeler manufacturer has received pretty good response with the special edition scooter after its launch here during last festive season, it hopes to see further boost in sales in 2018 with the new colour variant. The brand is relying on the trend of growing demand for matte paint two-wheelers. The Jupiter Classic comes rivaling another stylish and popular scooter in its segment that is Yamaha Fascino.
