The Suzuki GSX-R1000R Ryuyo is the most insane track-only special edition motorcycle ever created by the Japanese brand

How can you make an already fast motorcycle faster? Simple use plenty of carbon fiber instead of the usual body panels. Believe it or not, the superbike that you are seeing in these images generates a staggering 211 hp of peak power and weighs just 168 kilograms (now you do the power to weight ratio math).

The motorcycle is named after the 6.5-kilometer long Suzuki test track facility in Japan. Considered the most powerful production motorcycle built by Suzuki the GSX-R1000 Ryuyo is powered by the same inline, 4-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled 1,000 cc motor which powers the standard GSX-R 1000.

However, Suzuki has gone the distance by adding 11 additional horses to this engine taking the overall power output to 212 hp at 12,900 rpm while the torque output too has gone up to 119 Nm at 10,3000 rpm.

The motorcycle is limited to just 20 units worldwide and will be sold in the markets of Europe after it makes its official debut at EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. Apart from the technical wizardry which Suzuki has performed on this motorcycle it also features some top-notch hardware in the form of Yoshimura R-11 full titanium 4-in-1 exhaust made entirely out of Titanium.

This exhaust has been specifically designed to be used on the race track and helps in saving almost 5.9 kilograms compared to the standard exhausts. It comes equipped with K&N Filters, racing buttons on the handlebars, sticky rubbers from Dunlop, Ohlins TTX GP monoshock setup and fully adjustable shock absorber Ohlins TTX and many more.

Unfortunately, this new motorcycle will be a track use only machine and just as we mentioned limited to just 20 units with a price tag equivalent to around 26 lakh rupees. Built by Suzuki Moto Italy, the GSX-R1000R Ryuyo is testament to the track prowess of the Japanese brand and we expect more special editions like this to come in the near future.
