MG XS compact SUV to start selling in UK market soon; comes as a rebadged version of MG ZS
SAIC owned British car brand MG Motors is gearing up to enter the Indian market and one of the important products from the brand here could be the XS compact SUV that is ready to go on sale in UK soon. The XS compact SUV comes as the rebadged version of MG ZS that was showcased in Guangzhou in November 2016.
As The British marquee claims, the compact SUV comes with a new front fascia thanks to the larger radiator grille. It draws inspiration from the brand’s heritage and blends it with contemporary styling. Upon launch, the all-new MG XS will join the MG3 and MG GS in the brand’s UK portfolio. The company is also preparing to launch the MG6 sedan in the country that debuted in China last week and interestingly, this too will come to India.

Specifications of the upcoming MG XS compact SUV is not revealed yet. But, the automaker claims, this car will surely impress the buyers. What we know so far is that it will be available in two different petrol engine options. Alongside the petrol motors, MG Motors could consider a diesel engine for the car in India. Transmission option for the MG XS compact SUV would include both manual and automatic gearbox.
India is currently one of the biggest markets for the compact SUVs and the XS could be a very interesting product here, if the automaker launches it in domestic market. However, the brand and its owner SAIC is tight lipped about bringing it here.

If the MG XS is launched in Indian market, we might see it being priced very aggressively in order to grab attention of the buyers. Also, this comes with several upmarket features and advanced technologies that are bound to make it an appealing product from MG Motors.
