Lexus LS 350 rides on GA-L platform and it gets power from a 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6 engine
Premium luxury car manufacturer Lexus has unveiled the LS 350 luxury sedan at the Macao International Auto Show in China. This sedan will be the entry level flagship from the brand in Chinese market. The car follows the footsteps of its LS 500 sibling, but the powertrain under the hood of this model is a 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6 engine.
The Lexus LS 350 borrows its design language from the bigger sibling LS 500. It incorporates the auto manufacturer’s signature front grille flanked by sharp LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. The front bumper appears massive and it gets two large air dams at both ends. At the side profile, too, it appears with sleek creases and a suave design.

Inside the cabin, the Lexus LS 350 will come offering extensive range of luxury through the features. It also offers generous space and comfort to the occupants, while the elegant design increases its appeal further. Lexus claims that this sedan offers noble sense of elegance and vibrant acceleration.
The premium luxury auto manufacturer has not revealed the power and torque output details of the powertrain yet. But, the 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6 engine under the hood of this model is expected to churn out 318 hp of peak power and 380 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duty is done by a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

For a flagship sedan like the Lexus LS 350, the power output could be lower, but the Mercedes-Benz S 320 L gets a 3.0-litre V6 engine in Chinese market. This engine is capable of churning out 272 hp of peak power and 400 Nm of peak torque. It is capable of accelerating 0-100 kmph in 7.1 seconds with a top speed of 250 kmph. India being one of the major growing markets for premium cars, we can hope Lexus to launch the LS 350 in here as well.
