Toyota Innova is one of the most popular MPV in Asia and Middle Easten countries. We have seen lots of modifications on Innova and the latest one come from Vietnam in which the new Crysta has been customized to look like Lexus model. The modification is limited to aesthetics and exterior as the interior and mechanical remain same.
On the exterior, the front get Lexus signature grille with new bumper and fog lamp housing is finished in boomerang style with LED DRLs placed on top of it. The headlamps are carried over from stock model while the lower part of bumper is finished in black colour. The custom shop has given body kit for Innova which gives the impression of lower ground clearance.

The Innova also gets splitters at front and indicators are placed on the side on front bumper infront of wheel. The side remains same except for new alloy wheels with low profile tyres and black finish for rear view mirror and door handles. At rear, the Innova get new bumper with quad exhaust and faux diffuser.
The cost of the modification kit is Rs. 1,19,138 and the installation cost is Rs. 5,957. The custom shop will take 16 days to complete the process. In Vietnam, Innova Crysta is powered by 2.0 L petrol engine producing 137 hp of power and 183 Nm of torque while the 2.8 L diesel engine produces 233 hp of power and 360 Nm of torque. These engines get option of manual and automatic transmission.

In India, Innova is powered by 2.4 L diesel engine producing 150 PS of power and 340 Nm of torque. The 2.8 L diesel engine puts out 174 PS of power and 360 Nm of torque and the 2.7 L petrol engine makes 166 PS and 245 Nm of torque. These engines are mated to 5 speed manual and 6 speed automatic transmission.
