Compass is currently Jeep’s most affordable SUV available in India; comes equipped with loads of safety features

It’s not been very long time, when Jeep Compass SUV scored 5 star safety rating in Euro NCAP crash test. Within one month, the car has bagged Top Safety Pick award from Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The redesigned Jeep Compass was equipped with optional front crash prevention. The SUV scored impressive ratings in all the five IIHS crash-worthiness tests.

The five crashworthiness tests by IIHS include small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side strength, roof strength and head restraints. The Jeep Compass was also equipped with optional high intensity discharge lights and high beam assist. Thanks to this technology the car automatically switches between high beams and low beams depending on the presence of vehicles from opposite direction.
