Isuzu D-Max And MU-X X-Power Editions Look Really Hot

Isuzu D-Max and MU-X are two capable off-road products in its segment but the lack of updated features and below par quality is affecting sales a lot. To improve sales, Isuzu introduced X-Power special edition models of D-Max and MU-X for Chinese markets. Both these models are finished in dark grey but the contrasting colours are different.

The D-Max X-Power Edition gets silver cladding on the front and rear along with yellow finish on the front. The company has given 17 inch alloy wheels which is finished in black colour. The Chinese spec model doesn’t get LED fog lamps unlike the Indian versions. The interior is finished in black colour with yellow accents on the dashboard and seats.

Isuzu-D-Max-X-Power-Edition-1The MU-X gets same silver finish like the D-Max, instead of yellow colour the company has given orange finish. The alloywheels are also finished in black colour with 255/65 section 17 inch tyres. The interior is also finished in all black theme with orange accents on centre console, door pads and seats.

The Chinese spec MU-X are powered by 3.0 L engine producing 177 hp and the 1.9 L diesel engine produces 163 hp. These engines are mated to 6 speed manual and automatic gearbox. In India, D-Max is powered by 2.5 L engine puts out 134 bhp of power at 3,600 rpm and 320 Nm of torque at 1,800 rpm. This engine is mated to 5 speed manual gearbox an it also get all wheel drive system.

Isuzu-D-Max-X-Power-Edition-2The MU-X in India is powered by 3.0 L diesel engine producing 174 bhp of power at 3,600 rpm and 380 Nm of torque at 1,800 rpm. This engine is mated to 5 speed gearbox and the company offers both two wheel drive and four wheel drive system. Isuzu might introduce these special edition models in India to improve sales.
