Isuzu D-Max is one of the most popular pick-up trucks in the world. In India, D-Max is popular among off-road and adventure people as the versatile nature is the reason behind the success. Isuzu introduced D-Max AT35 stealth edition in UK.
The AT35 variant is specially tuned by Arctic Trucks for improved off-road capability as the body is raised by 30 mm and suspension by 20 mm. Compared to the regular AT35, Isuzu removed chrome from the entire vehicle and replaced it with black finish.
The roof bars, side steps, radiator grille, rear bumper, fog lamp surrounds and badges are all finished in black colour. The Japanese manufacturer has given black mica paint finish for the exterior which does make the D-Max look even more aggressive.
Apart from the paint job, the D-Max AT35 Stealth Edition comes with LED headlight, fog lamps, lazer lights on front bumper and sports bar, mountain top roller cover and black finished rear sports bar. The interior of D-Max also got some updates like black leather upholstery along with a new 9 inch touch screen infotainment system with nine speaker audio system.
Some of the other features include key less entry, push button start, satellite navigation, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. According to William Brown, Managing Director of Isuzu UK the stealth edition takes the D-Max to another level compared to its competitors.
Isuzu hasn’t made any mechanical changes for D-Max AT35 as it is powered by 1.9 L turbocharged diesel engine producing 164 PS of power and 360 Nm of torque. The power is sent to all four wheels via 6 speed manual and automatic transmission.
This engine meets Euro 6 standards without the use of Adblue. One of the impressive features of D-Max truck is its 3.5 ton towing capacity along with 1 ton payload. The D-Max stealth edition truck is limited to just 10 units and it is priced at Rs. 41,02,307 in UK.
