
Honda Elevate derives power from a 1.5L four-cylinder i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine in a similar fashion to the fifth-generation City
Honda Cars India has today announced the launch of the Elevate in the domestic market with an introductory starting price of Rs. 10,99,900 and it goes all the way up to Rs. 15,99,900 for the range-topping model (ex-showroom, Delhi). The customer deliveries of the Honda Elevate are commencing from today onwards across authorised dealerships present in the country.
The Honda Elevate has been made available in four grades with seven different single-tone exterior colour schemes and three two-tone shades. Developed under the Urban Freestyler concept, the five-seater competes directly against Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, etc.

The midsize SUV measures a length of 4,312 mm, a width of 1,790 mm and a height of 1,650 mm with a wheelbase length of 2,650 mm. It boasts the largest bootspace in its segment at 458 litres and has the highest ground clearance as well at 220 mm. The Honda Elevate derives power from a 1.5L four-cylinder i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine in a similar fashion to the fifth-generation City. It is good enough to generate a maximum power output of 121 PS and 145 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain is mated to a six-speed manual transmission as standard while a seven-speed CVT is an option.

The Elevate also shares mechanical bits and the platform with the City sedan. It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 15.31 kmpl and 16.92 kmpl for MT and CVT respectively. The SUV is BSVI stage 2 emission norms and E20 compatible. It gets a standard vehicle warranty of three years and buyers can opt for an extended warranty of up to five years, and anytime warranty of up to ten years and Road Side Assistance from the date of purchase.
The Honda Elevate features tall pillars, an upright front fascia with sharp LED projector headlights, LED DRLs, LED turn indicators, LED taillamps and dual-tone finished diamond-cut 17-inch alloy wheels. The equipment list comprises a seven-inch HD full-colour TFT meter cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, six airbags, Honda Sensing Suite, and much more.
