Hero motorcycles and scooters will be pricier by around Rs. 400 from next month

Hero MotoCorp to increase pricing of its motorcycles and scooters from January 1, 2018. The price hike will be marginal, as the two-wheelers will see a hike of around Rs. 400. This move comes as part of the brand’s yearly price revision strategy and due to the higher production cost as well. However, the brand doesn’t expect such marginal price hike will affect sales.

The amount of price hike will vary depending on different models. Meanwhile, Hero MotoCorp has launched the updated Passion Pr, Passion XPro and Super Splendor just a few days ago. All the three commuter motorcycles come sporting revised body deals and couple of cosmetic updates along with in-house developed TOD (Torque On Demand) engines.
