The EcoSport earlier came with 8 inch infotainment system, now Ford has given 9 inch system with Sync 3 software along with other feature improvements
Ford India launched the first generation EcoSport in June 2013. Thanks to its SUV design and long list of features with efficient engines, the EcoSport was a huge success to the company for quite a while. But it had to face intense competition and lost its advantage over the rivals especially Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. To get back on top, Ford introduced EcoSport facelift in India last year with a new petrol engine and design updates.
Even though EcoSport is doing decent numbers, Ford wants to improve the sales and the company has updated the features list of EcoSport along with a small bump in price of Rs. 5,000 – Rs. 10,000 depending on the variant. With the facelifted model, Ford had revised the design of front end with new grille, headlamp and bumper while the side and rear continue with minor revision. The interior design was also updated as the dashboard gets a new layout along with a new instrument cluster.
