Based on Titanium trim, the Ford EcoSport Signature edition gets stylish and unique 17-inch wheels; receives a sportier rear spoiler too
Ford seems to be working on a new special edition of the EcoSport that is christened as EcoSport Signature. A test mule of the SUV was spotted testing in India without any camouflage a few months and it has emerged again courtesy of spy pics posted on IAB. But this time around with the top-of-the-line Titanium S variant. Both are expected to be launched sometime in the second half of 2018 and it would likely boost sales for the popular SUV.
Speaking about the Ford EcoSport Signature edition, it appears same as the regular model. However, there are some subtle changes that enhance its appeal further. The special edition model runs on 17-inch large machined wheels, while another change is the sharper and sportier roof spoiler. It appears similar as the EcoSport ST-Line model currently available in European market.

Being based on the Titanium or Titanium+ trim, Ford EcoSport Signature edition will receive all the features available in the regular model. While the above mentioned changes at the exterior, inside the cabin this car will come with several updates in order to become unique and appealing. Expect it to get dual-tone interior theme that will add sportiness to while a SYNC 3 touchscreen infotainment system will be there as well.
The Ford EcoSport Signature edition will come with several features and styling elements, which are available in the European market-spec model. On the powertrain front, no change are expected. The spotted Titanium S variant has unique 17-inch alloys, Titanium S badge at the rear, black accents on the front fascia, smoked out headlamps, etc.

Ford EcoSport Signature edition is likely to be available in both petrol and diesel engine options. In that case, it will get a new 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Power and torque output of these engines will be same as the standard model. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual gearbox for both petrol and diesel versions, while there will be a 6-speed automatic unit as option with the petrol model.
On the pricing front, Ford EcoSport Signature edition is expected to be priced slightly higher compared to the regular mode. We can expect it to be priced at around Rs. 12 lakh (ex-showroom) and sat on top-of-the-range. The standard 2018 Ford EcoSport costs between Rs. 7.67 lakh and Rs. 11.20 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
