The custom Jeep Compass gets LED light package, revised body coloured bumpers, SRT badge, titanium finished alloy wheels
It’s been not long Jeep India has launched its third product in the country in form of the Compass. The most affordable Jeep SUV has already garnered pretty much attention and positive response as well. As it seems, the customizing studios too have started working on giving the Jeep Compass unique appearance. Here we have the first customised Jeep Compass of India that has been modified by Coimbatore based KitUp Automotive.
The basic design of this customised Jeep Compass is same as it received only subtle updates. It sports LED headlamps and LED fog lamps. The revised body coloured bumpers at front and rear along with black trims enhance the visual appeal further. Painted in bright red exterior colour theme, this particular Jeep Compass dons titanium finished alloy wheels with red highlight. There is a glossy black roof as well.

The taillights get black detailing delivering a smoked look and there is a sleek black grille at the rear bumper. To add zing to the SUV, the modifier has added an SRT badge as well. But, don’t get too tempted by seeing the badge as the modifications are limited to the cosmetic front only. Under the skin, the SUV bears the same powertrain with unchanged specification.
The customisation studio didn’t reveal the interior changes made to this SUV. However, it mentions that this car gets a custom audio system. On the powertrain front, it draws energy from a 2.0-litre diesel engine coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The engine under its hood is capable of churn9ing out 173 PS of peak power and 350 Nm of peak torque.

Jeep Compass was launched in domestic market on 31st July and it has already managed to register more than 10,000 bookings. The SUV is available in both petrol and diesel engine options and it gets 4×4 technology as well. After the latest price hike to comply with the increased cess by GST Council, the Compass is currently priced between Rs. 15.20 lakh and Rs. 21.41 lakh (ex-showroom, Kolkata).
