At both sides the fog lamp housing sport blackened look and they also get horizontally positioned LED daytime running lights along with unusual shaped large fog lamps below that. The black cladding enhances its tough look further and the sharp creases on the hood give it a sculpted appearance.

Speaking about the side profile, the Tata Hexa sports thick black cladding at lower area. Apart from that, it also gets flared wheel arches, turn indicator integrated ORVMs, blackened glass area with a chrome trim at the bottom of it, sleek roof rails and a floating roof pattern thanks to the blackened rear pillar. This MPV gets both 16-inch steel and 19-inch alloy wheel options.

Overall, in terms of design and style both the Tata Hexa and the Jeep Compass come with attractive appearance. Both of them wear new age design language and are down to the buyers which to choose. But we kind of have a soft spot for the Compass though in this aspect.

Also, Hexa comes 151 mm taller than Compass and it has a 214 mm of extra wheelbase as well. It is very much clear that the Tata Hexa offers a spacious cabin thanks its dimensional superiority over the Jeep Compass. The 22 mm of extra ground clearance ensures Hexa is better capable in handling the rough roads compared to the Jeep Compass.

Though the Tata Hexa has only 128-litre boot storage capacity, but with the second and third row seats folded the capacity expands to 671-litre, which is much higher than Jeep Compass’ 410-litre capacity.
