Saif’s Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is priced at a whopping Rs. 1.07 crore; currently most powerful Jeep SUV in India
Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan becomes the latest owner of a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT that he bought at a price tag of Rs. 1.07 crore (ex-showroom). The actor is known for his tasteful choice of cars that he owns in his garage and the latest addition to that list is the Grand Cherokee SRT, which is currently the most powerful Jeep SUV in the Indian market.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT comes as the flagship model in India from the iconic American SUV manufacture and it is the performance focused variant of Grand Cherokee. The SRT badge indicates to the performance focused character of the car, just like AMG for Mercedes Benz and M badge for BMW models.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is powered by a 6.4-litre HEMI V8 turbocharged engine that is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The engine is well capable of churning out 468 bhp of peak power at 6,250 rpm and 624 Nm of peak torque at 4,100 rpm. Power is sent to all the four wheels through the full time Quadtrack-2 AWD system of the vehicle.
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is capable of accelerating to 100 kmph from standstill position in just 4 seconds. The SUV runs on 17-inch alloy wheels equipped with high performance Brembo brakes and it also gets Active Damping suspension. To ensure safety, the performance SUV arrives with ABS, Traction Control, Stability Control, Hill Hold Control, Brake Assist, 7 airbags etc.

In terms of design, the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT looks very aggressive and it carries typical Jeep signature styling elements like vertically slated teeth like front grille, all-LED headlamps, integrated LED daytime running lights, chunky bumpers. Inside the cabin too, this performance focused SUV gets several premium features and advanced technologies to lure the buyers. So far, the car comes as a very attractive package, but at a cost of more than a crore.
