5 Upcoming Mahindra SUV Launches In 2023-24 In India

Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is expected to be launched in the coming months while the global debut of the five-door Thar could happen later this year

Mahindra & Mahindra will more likely bring in as many as five new SUVs over the next twelve months or so and here we have listed all of them:

1. Mahindra XUV.e8:

The Mahindra XUV.e8 will be the first in the line of a new range of electric vehicles from Mahindra and it will be launched in December 2024 ahead of the introduction of the XUV.e9 in early 2025. Underpinned by the INGLO architecture, the XUV.e8 has an overall length of 4,740 mm, a width of 1,900 mm and a height of 1,760 mm with a wheelbase length of 2,762 mm. The electric SUV will feature an AWD system as well and thus a dual motor setup.

2. Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus:

The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is expected to be launched in the coming months and it will be slotted below the Scorpio Classic. It will be available in seven- and nine-seater configurations and will be powered by a 1.5L diesel engine producing 100 hp. It will be paired with a five-speed manual transmission. It will borrow design cues from the Bolero Neo.

3. Mahindra XUV700 Facelift:

The Mahindra XUV700 has made a huge impact since its market debut in 2021 and is expected to get a mild refresh in the near future. The existing 2.2L four-cylinder mHawk diesel and the 2.0L mStallion turbo four-cylinder petrol engines will likely continue with a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission options.

4. 5-Door Mahindra Thar:

The five-door version of the Mahindra Thar will more likely make its market debut later this year before going on sale in early 2024. It will have larger proportions than the global three-door Thar and will be available in a 2.2L diesel and a 2.0L petrol engine option. Mahindra may offer a 2WD variant as well. It will have improved practicality.

5. New-Gen Mahindra XUV500:

Mahindra is expected to launch an all-new SUV positioned between the XUV300 compact SUV and the XUV700 in the near future. The midsize SUV could revive the XUV500 nameplate and have an overall length of around 4.3 metres. It could sit on the modified version of the X100 platform found in the XUV300 and the XUV400 electric SUV but no official confirmation has been made yet.
