In response, Maruti Suzuki has made some alterations on its 2018MY Vitara Brezza as we can exclusively reveal and here is everything you need to know about it:

2018 Maruti Vitara Brezza Exterior

To start off, the LDi (O) and VDi (O) trims are discontinued as the leading automaker in the country is now offering ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and dual airbags as standardised fitment across the range. Moreover, the exterior tweaks include chrome grille and chromed boot garnish as standard.

For increases sportiness, the range-topping ZDi and ZDi (O) variants are adorned with multi-spoke black alloy wheels instead of grey wheels and they go well with the overall styling of the Vitara Brezza as you can see in our exclusive images. The Vitara Brezza comes with a boxy traditional design and has well-proportioned looks.

The addition of standard safety bits and exterior tweaks have resulted in price increase of Rs. 12,500, Rs. 8,500 and Rs. 5,500 on LDi, VDi and ZDi variants respectively (all prices, ex-showroom New Delhi).

2018 Maruti Vitara Brezza Engine, Specs and Mileage

Mechanically, the 2018 Maruti Vitara Brezza remains just the same and uses the tried-and-tested 1.3-litre DDiS 200 four-cylinder diesel engine which is good enough to produce a maximum power output of 90 PS at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm of peak torque delivered at 1,750 rpm. It is connected to a five-speed manual transmission as the AMT has long been awaited.

The updated Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza continues to measure 3,995 mm long, 1,790 mm wide, 1,640 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,500 mm. Its bootspace capacity stands at 328 litres and the ground clearance is at 198 mm.

As for the cabin, the dark grey theme has been replaced by all-black interior and there is a new exterior orange colour coming in place of the blue. The 2018 Maruti Suzuki Vitara brezza comes equipped with SmartPlay infotainment system with in-built MapCare navigation and Apple CarPlay, reverse parking camera, engine start/stop button, electrically-foldable ORVMs with turn indicators, cruise control, 60:40 split rear seat and auto headlamps among others.
