Only 40 units of BMW 6-Series GT M Sport Debut Edition will be made for Japanese domestic market; priced at Rs. 73.72 lakh (12,890,000 Yen)

Japan is among one of the major global markets where demand for luxurious high performance cars are pretty high and German premium car brand BMW doesn’t want to leave the chance to grab attention of the domestic buyers there. The automaker has unveiled its 6-Series GT M Sport Debut Edition at the Tokyo Motor Show. This special edition high performance luxury car will be built in a limited number of 40 units only and it will be sold in Japanese domestic market only.

Priced at approximately Rs. 73.72 lakh (12,890,000 Yen), the BMW 6-Series GT M Sport Debut Edition comes with a very stylish and suave appearance. Also, being a special edition model it dons several exclusive elements that make it appealing.

Based on the 640i GT, this model is painted in Sophisto Gray exclusive paint scheme. It comes wearing several chrome accents at the signature kidney grille up front and at glass area. It runs on bold looking 20-inch M alloy wheels and there are blue painted brake calipers as well. Apart from that, it boasts sharp headlamps with LED corona rings, large air intake, nicely curved and sloping roofline and wraparound LED taillights along with twin chrome tipped exhausts.

Not only exterior, but the cabin too has been designed to lure the buyers to its exclusivity. Inside the cabin, this car gets a large 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a separate entertainment system for the rear occupants with colour screen and DVD drive and a Bower & Wilkins premium sound system as well. Apart from that, the cognac coloured Dakota leather seats, piano black trims at different places, four-zone climate control and gesture control are the other features that enhance its style further.

Power source for the BMW 6-Series GT M Sport Debut Edition is a 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine that is capable of churning out 340 PS of peak power and 450 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duty is done by an 8-speed automatic gearbox and power is sent to all the four wheels through xDrive AWD system. It is capable of accelerating 0-100 kmph in 5.3 seconds and top speed for the car is 250 kmph.
