11MG ZS SUV
The iconic British manufacturer MG Motors is finally coming to India. Like most of the new brands, the company has also chosen compact SUV to be the market to start its India innings. The first model that is going to be launched in India is ZS Compact SUV and the market launch is expected to take place in 2019.
The ZS Compact SUV design is not sporty or plain but it lands in the middle as the front design is pleasing with large black finished grille with MG logo in middle and swept back headlamp with projectors. The fog lamps are placed low on the body with skid plates finished in silver colour along with black finish for the air-vents.

The side design is simple with black cladding all around the body giving SUV stance but the ground clearance is not high like its rivals. The India spec model might be jacked up considering our road condition which is pathetic. The rear design is simple with LED tail lamps and the new bumper. Overall, the exterior design of ZS Compact SUV will appeal to lots of customers.
The interior of ZS Compact SUV continues the exterior design theme as it gets three-spoke steering with controls for infotainment system and metre console. The centre console gets a 7 or 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and it will be loaded with lots of features like cruise control, push-button start, keyless entry and more.

The ZS is powered by 1.0 L and 1.5 L engine options in global markets and it could be the same configuration for India also. The 1.0 L engine produces 111 PS of power at 5,200 rpm and 160 Nm of torque between 1,800 rpm and 4,700 rpm. The 1.5 L engine puts out 106 PS and 141 Nm. These engines are mated to 6 speed and 5-speed automatic transmission options.
