Volvo has sold the limited edition Polestar Engineered S60 T8 in a blistering pace in the American marketplace. All the 20 special edition models were ordered in just 39 minutes as the Swedish luxury carmaker used its Care by Volvo app to link subscribers with future models.
Through the application, interested customers can also pre-order the upcoming S60 in S60 T6 AWD Momentum trim as well being able to do it online otherwise. Compared to the regular all-new S60, the T8 Polestar Engineered version allows for increased power as 415 hp and 669 Nm torque make it an exclusive model indeed.

It also gets mechanical improvements for greater handling characteristics as unique 19-inch alloy wheels, Brembo brake setup, Ohlins suspension unit, upgraded ECU and new Polestar strut bar are made available. In the United States market, Volvo is also providing Polestar Engine Software Optimisation upgrade for the next 200 subscribers via Care on the S60 T6 AWD R-Design trim as a compliment.
It can be had on first come first serve basis. The Polestar Engine Software upgrade enables improved shift speed, throttle response, gear hold and mid-range engine performance. The subscription program allows for easy purchase of the Volvo S60 as monthly fee covers insurance, maintenance, wear and tear as well as car payment for 24 months.

Care by Volvo gives a choice of owning a brand new model or a model year upgrade of the same vehicle used after 12 months. Volvo revealed the all-new S60 sedan last month with design updates and more features and is expected to be launched in India sometime next year. Whether the subscription package will be available or not is yet unknown.
