Volkswagen India has relaunched ‘Deep Black’ colour scheme for Polo and Vento in the domestic market. The German manufacturer says the Black & White edition has made a comeback as the brand focusses on responding to customer feedback and requirements.

It is worth noting that the Black & White edition is available on Polo, Vento and Ameo. It enhances the overall exterior of the three models by introducing new styling elements and as the name suggests the black and white colours dominate the visual theme.

Compared to the standard version, it adorns black finished wing mirrors, chrome fender Black & White badge, black painted roof, glossy integrated boot rear spoiler in the Vento and Ameo, roof edge spoiler in the Polo. The sporty touches are topped off by new body graphics on the lower door portion of the side profile.

The Black & White edition Polo, Vento and Ameo run on 16-inch Portago alloy wheels while the interior gets ‘Black & White’ leather seat covers. Volkswagen further states that the special edition can only be had in available colours and select variants on all the three models.

The special editions will be sold across Volkswagen’s authorised showrooms in India without any additional cost to the buyers. Since the beginning of this year, VW retails its vehicles with two-year or unlimited km warranty with two-year free roadside assistance. Free service comes at 7,500 km/6 months and paid service at 15,000 km/1 year.

Volkswagen Group is in the midst of a big shake-up as new products based on the MQB A0 IN platform are waiting to be launched next year. With Skoda having taken charge of the INDIA 2.0 project, high degree of localisation and competitive vehicles are in the horizon – the first one being a compact premium Kamiq SUV from Skoda and the second is the India-spec VW T-Cross.
