Mahindra introduced the XUV500 facelift in April, but some dealers have stocks of the pre-facelift model and they are offered with hefty discounts. The W4, W6, W8 and W9 variant of pre-facelift XUV500 comes with Rs. 1,18,800 as cash discount, Rs. 25,000 as exchange bonus an Rs. 10,000 as a corporate bonus, which takes the total benefits up to Rs. 1,53,800.
The company is offering Rs. 1,33,000 as cash discount, Rs. 25,000 as exchange bonus and Rs. 10,000 as a corporate bonus, the total benefits on XUV 500 pre-facelift W10 variant with the automatic and manual transmission is Rs. 1,68,600. These offers will be available across the country and it will depend on stock.
To improve sales during festival season, Mahindra introduced some offers on XUV 500 facelift model. The diesel variants of new XUV500 comes with Rs. 10,000 as a cash discount, Rs. 25,000 as exchange bonus and Rs. 10,000 as a corporate bonus, which takes the total benefits up to Rs. 45,000.
The petrol model of XUV 500 facelift comes with Rs. 25,000 exchange bonus and Rs. 10,000 as a corporate discount, it is available only in a single variant. The XUV500 petrol model is powered by 2.2 L unit producing 140 bhp of power at 4,500 rpm and 320 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. The power is sent to front wheels via 6 speed automatic transmission.
The diesel variant is powered by 2.2 L mHawk engine with 155 hp at 3,750 rpm and 360 Nm between 1,750 rpm – 2,800 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission with front wheel drive and all-wheel drive options. The XUV 500 facelift changes are focused on aesthetics rather than on mechanical parts.
The front gets new bumper along with tweaked grille and headlamps but the major change is at rear with new tail lamps and updated rear door, which gives a premium look for the XUV. The interior also comes with minor tweaks and the features list includes 18-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, electric sunroof, electrically adjustable driver seat and more.
