Upcoming Mahindra XUV300 (Maruti Vitara Brezza Rival) To Get Sunroof – Spied

MAHINDRA XUV300

Upcoming Mahindra XUV300 will be launched in India later this year with speculatively most powerful engine in its segment

Only recently we informed you that the upcoming Vitara Brezza rival will be getting a pair of rear disc brakes which will help giving it better stopping power resulting in better handling characteristics. Now it was spotted once again out in the open boasting a new sunroof. Currently only the Honda WR-V and the Ford EcoSport get a factory fitted sunroof as an option with top end variants while we also do believe that only the top spec variants of this upcoming car will get this feature.

What we do believe that after the Marazzo MPV the XUV300 will be the next biggest launch from Mahindra’s stable. Once launched the SUV will take on its rivals including the Tata Nexon, Maruti Vitara Brezza and Ford EcoSport and will be priced in the same range.

The XUV300 like you already know by now is based on the Ssangyong Tivoli and it was also sported sporting the similar kind of LED tail lamps. Under the hood the soon to be launched XUV300 will most probably get the new 1.5 Litre diesel engine which powers the Marazzo MPV while the petrol variant will most probably be powered by a 1.2 Litre turbocharged unit.

Some of the expected features in the upcoming XUV300 will include LED headlamps with DRL lamps, LED rear tail lamps, bigger alloy wheels and rugged styling on its exterior. Inside the cabin XUV300 will most likely feature a touchscreen infotainment system (most probably the same unit seen on the new Marazzo), a new sunroof which until now can be only be seen on some premium cars only and seats for 5 occupants.

Like almost all other modern cars expect the XUV300 to get plenty of safety features as well which will include dual front airbags, ABD with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts and reverse parking sensors as standard.

As far as the prices are concerned expect the Mahindra XUV300 to be priced in between Rs.6.5 lakhs to 10 Lakh rupees.
