32Tata Tigor Sports (JTP Edition)

Tata Tigor has earned pretty good response with its stylish and appealing design. Inspired by the success of the sedan, Tata Motors is now preparing to launch different iterations of the Tigor. While the brand has already rolled out an all-electric variant of the car, there is a sporty variant of the sedan ready to be launched. This car will be named as Tata Tigor JTP (Jayem-Tata Performance) and it has been developed jointly by the automaker and Jayem Automotives.

Tata Tigor JTP comes wearing a sporty performance focused look. Thanks to the various red accents across the exterior, this sedan looks very stylish. It gets new matte black front grille flanked by revised smoked headlamps, while the front bumper boasts black glossy theme with glossy accents around the fog lamps. Apart from that, there would be a front splitter as well.

Moving to side profile, Tigor Sports could get sporty 15inch alloy wheels with red brake calliper, side skirts, red painted ORVMs along with black glass area. Also, there are sporty body decals as well. At the back, there would be revised taillights, a bold spoiler and updated bumper as well. So far, Tata Tigor Sports would come wearing a very sporty stance that will be visible from all the corners. However, dimensionally this car will be same as the standard Tigor.

Inside the cabin, Tata Tigor Sports gets leather seat covers along with red accents on various spots and there are red contrast stitching on steering wheel, seats and gear lever as well. Apart from that, the centre console comes with piano black finish. Space remains same as the regular model as there is no dimensional change in this sporty car.

On the powertrain front, Tata Tiago JTP to be available with the same engine options as the standard model. However, the engine is re-tuned to churn out more power and torque output. T 1.2-litre Revotron turbocharged petrol engine to kick out around 110 hp of peak power and 170 Nm of peak torque. Expect it to be launched in the country market sometime in mid 2018 and it would be priced between Rs. 4.70 lakh and Rs. 7.09 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
