TVS has seen great success with its Apache series and now the brand is in process to make the Apache bikes more appealing to the customers with updates. Alongside the entry level Apache model RTR 160, TVS Motors is also preparing its bigger sibling the Apache RTR 180. Expect the facelifted Apache RTR 180 to be uncovered at 2018 New Delhi Auto Expo. Upon arrival, this bike will certainly boost the sales figure and appeal as well.

Speaking about the design, expect 2018 TVS Apache RTR 180 to arrive retaining similar design as the present model, but with subtle tweaks in order to make the bike much sharper and stylish. The 2018 TVS Apache RTR 180 will come with large headlamp flanked by twin LED daytime running light stripes. A fully digital instrument cluster will be there. It will also feature a chunky and muscular fuel tank with sculpted look and generous capacity.

Expect the 2018 TVS Apache RTR 180 to come with revised seats offering more comfort to the rider and pillion rider thanks to better cushioning. Other features will include split grab rail, LED taillight, chunky compact exhaust muzzle. The bike will run on similar alloy wheels as the current model.

Speaking about powertrain TVS Apache RTR 180 facelift model will draw energy from same engine as the present model. In that case, it will be powered by a 180 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is coupled with a 5-speed transmission. The present model kicks out 17.30 bhp of peak power at 8,500 rpm and 15.50 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. Expect the upcoming model to generate slightly better power and torque output.

The 2018 TVS Apache RTR 180 will certainly deliver better fuel efficiency compared to the current model. Expect braking and suspension equipments to remain same as present Apache RTR 180. On the pricing front, it will be competitively priced against the rivals to lure more buyers. The facelifted model could arrive priced at around Rs. 85,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
