From a few refreshed Pulsars to bi-fuel models, there’s a lot in store!

Let’s take a closer look at the upcoming Bajaj motorcycles in 2024:

1. Bajaj Pulsar N150 Update

Expected Launch: Coming weeks

Bajaj has teased an eagerly awaited update for the Pulsar N150, marking the first upgrade since its launch. Introduced as a replacement for the P150 in the Pulsar family, the N150 blends the underpinnings of its predecessor with styling cues from the more aggressive N160. Anticipated changes include potential Bluetooth connectivity, new colour options, and graphics, bringing a fresh appeal to this popular model.

The refined 150cc single-cylinder engine will likely remain unchanged. This motor belts out 14.3 bhp and 13.5 Nm and comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. The performance will be peppy enough for city roads, with great efficiency on offer as well.

2. Bajaj LPG/CNG Motorcycle

Expected Launch: End-2024

Diving into alternative fuels, Bajaj Auto is gearing up to introduce Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) options across its portfolio. Patent documents reveal a unique CNG-powered motorcycle with a specially designed frame accommodating the CNG tank and a smaller petrol tank. This innovative approach aims to offer an eco-friendly and cost-effective commuting solution, bridging the gap between petrol-powered bikes and electric alternatives.

The first of the bi-fuel motorcycles is expected to be a 100cc-110cc model. We cannot comment on the power figures yet, but that’s not the point anyway. It will be designed for efficiency, keeping the commuting costs down, and we’re sure it will excel at that.

3. Bajaj Pulsar NS400

Expected Launch: Second half of 2024

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400, the largest in the Pulsar family, is on the horizon. Leveraging the successful NS200’s chassis, the NS400 promises excellent handling and agility. Expect a design inspired by the aggressive NS family, unique elements, an LED headlamp, and a semi-digital infinity display. With a USD fork setup at the front and a monoshock at the rear, the NS400 is set to offer a thrilling riding experience.

The powertrain of the NS400 will be borrowed from the Dominar 400. In the latter, this engine packs a punch with 39.5 bhp and 35 Nm of torque, and it comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Bajaj could fine-tune this motor to extract a little more performance.
