Renault, the renowned French automotive giant, is gearing up to launch the next-generation Duster SUV. This highly anticipated mid-sized SUV is expected to come with significant updates and improvements, making it an exciting prospect for SUV enthusiasts. Spy pictures of this next-gen SUV emerged online a while back, and there are plenty of details floating around the internet.
Here are five key things you should know about the upcoming next-generation Renault Duster.
1. Design and Size
The next-generation Renault Duster will showcase a fresh and modern design. Drawing inspiration from the Renault Bigster Concept SUV, the new Duster will feature sharp body lines and incorporate Y-themed elements in the front grille, headlamps, and tail lamps. It will retain the signature upright and muscular stance, giving it a commanding presence on the road. The SUV is estimated to be around 4.44 meters in length, which should provide ample space in the cabin for passengers and cargo.
2. Platform
Underpinning the next-generation Duster will be Renault-Nissan’s CMF-B platform. This platform, specifically the CMF-B LS variant for our market, will come with India-specific modifications. Similar to Volkswagen’s India-specific MQB-A0-IN platform, the CMF-B LS platform will ensure the SUV meets the unique demands and preferences of the Indian market.
3. Interior and Features
Renault will likely enhance the overall cabin experience with the next-generation Duster. While specific details are limited, improvements can be expected over the previous generation. The SUV might feature a fully-digital instrument cluster and a large touchscreen infotainment system, offering advanced connectivity and entertainment options. Additionally, the SUV could come equipped with a four-wheel-drive system, providing enhanced off-road capabilities. The previous-gen model was also available with a 4WD system in the Indian market back in the day, which made it a big hit among off-road enthusiasts.

Some rumours suggest that the next-generation Duster will make its debut in India in 2025. While the official launch timeline is a mystery, we’re sure that Renault is working on launching it here soon, especially considering how well SUVs are performing in our market.
