TVS Sport has host of mechanical changes which improves mileage and driveability, reliability of engine which is priced at Rs. 36,880/-
Festive season is around the corner and started some areas and manufacturers have begun rolling improved, refreshed or brand new models to capture market share they always desire. TVS is one of them and today they have launched even higher mileage returning TVS Sport in the market. TVS Sport has been known in the market to deliver high fuel efficiency at a very low-cost. The bike has been advertised by many sport personalities over the past and the TVS Sport just got even better thanks to huge bump in fuel efficiency and new graphics on board of the new TVS Sport.
New features on the TVS Sport include an all gear electric start, aluminum grab rail, chrome muffler guard and a sporty instrument cluster. TVS Sport comes in four new colors such as Grey, Solid Red, Black-Red and White Blue. Mechanically it remains the same as it powered by a 99.7cc engine which makes 7.5 BHP and 7.5 Nm of torque. The TVS Sport weighs at 108.5 kgs and chassis wise the bike remains the same. Everything else on the bike remains the same.
Increased mileage of TVS Sport is all thanks to TVS Sport’s DuraLife tagged name engine, which gives the benefit of reduced friction and provides less stress on the engine, leading to more efficient fuel consumption as usual. There are many things used to make the fuel economy jump after by almost 8 km/l.
First thing is the use of chrome plated piston rings. Roller Cam follower is a new addition in the DuraLife motor, which leads to less friction and enhance more mileage. Refined and revised ignition timing co relates with the overall low dry mass to provide improved mileage, which now stands at a whopping 95 km/l.
