Fully faired TVS Apache 310 RR concept takes inspiration from Akula concept; shares engine with BMW G310R

Automotive designer Oberdan Bezzi has been treating us with its exciting renderings of TVS Apache models. The latest from his sketchbook is the TVS Apache 310 RR concept, which is an imaginative rendering of a 300 cc racing bike inspired by the TVS Akula concept, displayed at the 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo.

The speculative imagination shows us, how the TVS Apache 310 can don pure racing attire. The rendering shows it with full fairing and sharp appearing, ready to hit the track. The sharp and wide headlamp sports full LED units and the front cowl is designed to improve the air flow, clearly a very important matter for any sportsbike in the world.

The fairing not only enhances the sportsbike stance of the Apache 310 RR, but also comes designed in such manner, which emphasises on the aerodynamic efficiency. It gets a muscular fuel tank with sculpted appearance, and the rider seat has been designed to give the rider a leaning position, which will give him or her desired balance and control over the machine along with improving the air flow.

The split seat with stepped up pillion, narrow and sharp tail section with LED taillight, upwardly and higher positioned exhaust canister enhance the bike’s appeal further. Power source for the bike could be the same engine available in the BMW G310. Currently TVS is developing its flagship model Apache 300, which will be powered by the same engine.

The engine could churn out more power and torque in the Apache 310 RR, if TVS decides to produce it. The bike will surely get top-notch suspension and braking equipments. If the Hosur-based two-wheeler manufacturer decides give the concept a serious thought, then it is certainly going to be a very attractive and interesting bike in the domestic market.
