Triumph Will Launch Four New Motorcycles In India In 2018

Triumph will roll out Tiger 1200, new Tiger 800, Bonneville Speedmaster and the 2018 Triumph Speed Triple next year

Triumph is gearing up to launch four new motorcycles in India in 2018. These are the updated Tiger 1200, new Tiger 800, Bonneville Speedmaster and new Speed Triple. The first one among these four models will be the 2018 Triumph Tiger 1200 followed by the Bonneville Speedmaster and then 2018 Tiger 800. The last one among all will be the 2018 Triumph Speed Triple.

Speaking about the Triumph Tiger 1200, it is expected to arrive here sometime in early next year. The brand has shelved Explorer word from its name and the motorcycle appears with significant updates. Apart from the cosmetic updates, the motorcycle features better ergonomic design and self balancing semi-active suspension. Also, it comes lightweight enhancing the maneuverability and offering greater control to the rider.

The British premium motorcycle brand will launch Bonneville Speedmaster after the Tiger 1200. It could be launched sometime in March or April next year. It comes as Triumph’s most affordable cruiser and gets a larger fuel tank and more relaxing riding stance compared to the Bonneville Bobber.

2018 Triumph Tiger 800 is going to be the next model in the brand’s adventure series lineup. Being one of the popular premium adventure bikes in India, the new model is expected to enhance its appeal and boost the brand’s sales performance further. It gets new LED lighting, sharper styling, a fully digital instrument cluster.

The 2018 Triumph Tiger 800 gets six different riding modes. It also comes equipped with new seats, high performance Brembo brakes and Showa suspension. Despite having the same engine as the current model, it is expected to be tuned to deliver better performance. Triumph is currently testing the all-new Speed Triple and it is expected to launch sometime in late 2018.

Inspired by Triumph Street Triple’s design, the new Speed Triple features a new sub-frame, better electronics and improved performance. Triumph is looking for a double digit growth in India in 2018 and all these models are expected to play crucial role in that strategy along with enhancing the brand’s market share here.
