Toyota has revealed its GR HV Sports Concept at the interesting 2017 Tokyo Motor Show where the tone is almost set for the future as Japanese brands announced their electric mobility intentions.
The sportscar looks absolutely stunning with its matte black paint scheme and the design. As Toyota says, the GR stands for Gazoo Racing and HV indicates Hybrid Vehicle. The Toyota GR HV Sports Concept model has been inspired by the legendary Toyota Supra and Sports 800 and gets same powertrain as the TS050 Hybrid racer that competes in the World Endurance Championship.

The concept model gets unique design LED headlamps, a sculpted looking front end. The long hood gets vents that provide additional cooling to the engine under it. Moving to the side profile, this sports concept car gets flared fenders, sporty black alloy wheels with red brake calipers.

The concept model gets three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with dual stitching, fully digital instrument cluster. There is a large touchscreen infotainment system at the centre console and below that there are round control buttons and rotary dials. The gear lever gets a retractable red cap under which sits the push start button.

Transmission options will include a six-speed manual gearbox and an automatic gearbox. The battery is mounted near the centre of the vehicle for optimal weight distribution and low COG (Centre Of Gravity) and it has a front engine, rear-wheel-drive layout.
