The Honda Activa tops the sales chart in February 2024 followed by TVS Jupiter and Suzuki Access; Ola S1 and TVS iQube are also a part of the list
The month of February 2024 saw a total of 4.78 lakh scooters being sold in the Indian market. This is a very huge number and a healthy growth considering the February 2023 figures. The Honda Activa continued its reign followed by the TVS Jupiter and Suzuki Access. Let’s have a look at the details of the top 10 highest-selling scooters in February 2024.
To begin with, the Honda Activa sold a total of 2,00,134 units, thereby retaining its top spot. The YOY sales growth of the Honda Activa stood at 14.69%. Following the Activa is the TVS Jupiter with 73,860 units, gaining more than 37% year-on-year growth. The market share of the Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter stood at 41.83% and 15.44% respectively. Trailing behind is the Suzuki Access with 56,473 units units sold in February 2024. It gained a good 40% year-on-year growth which is a good sign for the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer.
The popular names in the electric scooter segment, Ola S1 and Bajaj Chetak also got a significant sales bump as compared to the previous year, taking their numbers to 33,846 and 13,620 units respectively. The YOY growth for Bajaj Chetak stood at 417% while Ola S1’s chart went up by over 90%.

Honda re-enters the list at number 5 with the Dio. The scooter’s February 2024 sales stood at 24,911 units followed by TVS Ntorq’s 24,911 units mark. Suzuki also re-enters the list at number 7 with Burgman, registering a sales of 17,433 units in February 2024.
The Hero Destini takes the 8th spot in the list of the top 10 highest-selling scooters with 17,033 units, registering a sky high growth of over 106% over the previous year. The TVS iQube electric also made a mark in the list with 15,792 units, a minimal 1.74% year-on-year gain. The last on this list is the Bajaj Chetak which registered the highest YOY growth of 417%.
Analysing the month-on-month performance of these top 10 highest-selling scooters, all the models saw a growth in sales with the TVS Jupiter, Ntorq and Bajaj Chetak being the only exceptions.
