We have already featured restored and modified version of RX135 and these articles are so popular among our readers, which shows that people are still interested in them.

In this article, we are featuring a restored RX 135 with some modifications done by Hindustan Customs based in Nagpur, Maharashta. These guys have given a new life for RX 135 and the changes start with LED headlamp and it is blackened for an aggressive look, but the shape has been retained from old model.

The telescopic suspension is finished in black colour and the front fenders are small. They have also given LED indicators, which has a similar design like those on KTM Duke. The stock handle bar has been replaced for a clip on type unit. The custom shop has also given a new aftermarket instrument cluster, which goes with the overall theme of the bike.

The fuel tank has been retained from old model but the seats are finished in brown leather. Hindustan Customs has given new gas charged suspension at rear for extra comfort. They didn’t give fenders and tail light at rear. The number plate is placed on left side near the suspension.

The mechanical parts are finished in black while body parts in silver colour. The custom shop has given new tyres at front and rear. The front tyres are bigger compared to rear and they ride on thick side wall tyres which is good for on and off-road. The stock engine has been retained but the exhaust is custom made unit for RX 135.

Yamaha RX 135 is powered by 132 cc single cylinder engine producing 14 bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and 12.25 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. This engine is mated to 5 speed gearbox and top speed is 110 kph. The restored RX 135 also comes with front disc brakes and drum at rear. They named the RX 135 as Tarak and it took them two months to complete this project.
