The Bajaj Pulsar NS350 from Vietnam is a modified NS200 that has been given the clothes of a Kawasaki Z1000 superbike, here are complete details and images

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is the sportiest and the fastest 200cc street naked motorcycle in its segment. Loosely based on the KTM Duke 200, this Pulsar model is exported to several markets worldwide. One of the several markets to which the NS200 is exported to is Vietnam. Here is a modified NS200 that has been re-named to Pulsar NS350 and looks like a Kawasaki Z1000 superbike.

The modified Bajaj Pulsar NS200 carries some major changes in order to successfully capture the look of the Kawasaki Z1000. Other than the sea of cosmetic upgrades, the engine has also seen a huge change. It has been rebored to 350cc, which is a significant bump in the cubic-capacity of the motorcycle.

Visually, the modified Bajaj Pulsar NS200 looks like a slightly smaller version of the litre-class Kawasaki Z1000 naked superbike. Other than a host of similar panels, the motorcycle also gets a raised windshield, carbon-fibre handlebar with new clip-on, CRG-sourced clutch brake and clutch levers.

Other than these changes, the motorcycle also gets a new side fairing on the fuel tank, a fully digital instrument console from the Honda MSX125 and aftermarket engine and crash guards. Interestingly, there’s a Maserati Trident logo between the headlight and the windscreen. The seat is all-new and so is the tail section.

Other than a re-bored engine, which now displaces nearly 350cc, the modified Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has Brembo brake callipers, new rear suspension, wider 180 section rear tyre. Originally, the NS200 is powered by a 199cc single-cylinder engine that pumps out a maximum power of 23.17 bhp at 9,500rpm and a peak torque of 18.3Nm at 8,000rpm. It comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

We feel that the customizer has done a great job with capturing the visual appeal of the Kawasaki Z1000 superbike. Also, the reboring of the engine is sure to have made the modified Bajaj Pulsar NS200 more powerful, which is another welcome step.
