Rajputana Customs took 3 months to complete the project and total cost of modification is Rs. 4.5 lakh excluding donor bike which is RE Classic 500

Rajputana Customs is one of the top modification shops in the country, their level of perfection is equal to some of the best modification groups in world. Mohit Sharma from Delhi was planning to buy a new bike for his wife as an anniversary present but he wants to give something special for her and obviously his first choice was not a mod bike.

Mohit was looking for bobber series bikes from Harley Davidson and Triumph, but soon after initial search, he found out that most of these bikes are out of his budget and can’t afford them. So he contacted Rajputana Customs to build a bobber series bike for him. The custom shop chose a Royal Enfield Classic 500 as the donor bike.

The changes start with new headlamp and the custom shop hasn’t given fenders at front and rear. The telescopic front suspension length has been increased and the mountings are different compared to standard bike. The handle bar is wider and placed higher on the body along with drop down mirrors.

The fuel tank is custom made for this bike and to accommodate the new fuel tank, Rajputana Custom has made some changes to the frame along with metal fabrication to make the body stronger. The seat is positioned lower on the body and foot pegs are forward set to give a comfortable riding position.

One of the unique things about 8 Ball is that pillion seat is hidden under rider seat and it can easily be deployed. Even from side and rear, people think it is a single seater motorcycle. The custom shop has increased the swing arm and rear suspension duties are handled by gas charged dual suspension which is tuned for comfort.

Rajputana Custom hasn’t changed anything on engine as 499 cc single cylinder engine produces 27.2 hp of power t 5,250 rpm and 41.3 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. This engine is mated to 5 speed gearbox. They have disc brake at front and drum at rear along with wider tyres at front and rear. The total cost of modification is Rs. 4.5 lakh excluding donor bike and it took them 3 months to complete it.
