Christened the ‘Soul Star’, this custom Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 has been created by Delhi-based Neev Motorcycles
While Royal Enfield introduced the Super Meteor 650 flagship cruiser earlier this year based on the same platform as the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, the Int 650 turned into a cruiser shown here is an interesting take on the cruiser body style with a taller handlebar and upscale body finish with short fenders at the front and rear.
Christened the ‘Soul Star’, this modded Interceptor 650 has been created by Delhi-based Neev Motorcycles. The attention to detail in this motorcycle is immaculate as the CNC machined wheels are made out of a solid aluminium block, and they are said to reminisce the wheels engraved on the walls of Konark Sun temple in Odisha.
A lot of brass finish can also be seen in the Soul Star including a brass dagger in the middle of the fuel tank. So why is it called the Soul Star? Neev Motorcycles believe the name comes from an eighth chakra, which is said to be the gateway to the spiritual world. Thus, the inspiration has been engraved in the form of eight spokes on the wheels.
To give a clean profile to the wheel design and engraving, the disc brake assembly and chain have been moved to one side of the rear wheel. The custom motorcycle is based on Interceptor 650 and barring the 648 cc parallel-twin engine, everything else has been reworked and rebuilt according to the mod firm. It is equipped with telescopic front forks and rear monoshock suspension.
Other highlights are 320 mm front and 280 mm rear disc brakes with a dual-channel ABS system, 160/60 R18 front and 240/40 R18 rear tyres, custom-built tank, fenders, front fork covers, sump guard, seat, body panels, full system exhaust, CNC machined aluminium wheels, CNC machined. wide triple tree, revised chassis and swingarm.
