Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) introduced the Aura compact sedan in early 2020 and it has been well-received by customers. It has proven to be a benchmark product in the compact sedan featuring an impactful design, a long list of features, and appreciable levels of overall performance with good fuel economy, reliability and above all, top-notch practicality.
The compact sedan, currently priced between Rs. 6.33 lakh and Rs. 8.90 lakh (ex-showroom), comes with the best-in-class road presence, highlighted by a black finished front grille, newly integrated LED Daytime Running Lights with a sporty bumper design, and stylish looking 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels adding to the cool quotient. Notably, the Aura also showcases chrome-finished outer door handles, pronounced wraparound tail lamps, a rear chrome garnish, and a wing spoiler elegantly mounted on the bootlid.

Under the hood, the established 1.2L four-cylinder petrol engine retains its place, now compliant with RDE standards and E20 fuel compatibility. Transmission options encompass a five-speed manual and an AMT, while the CNG variant exclusively features a five-speed MT. The intuitive braking capabilities and enjoyable cornering abilities are other main highlights of the sub-four-metre sedan.
