Tiago hatchback is the first car from Tata Motors to adopt the Impact design language; received overwhelming response shortly after launch
Tata Tiago has received positive response from the buyers within short span after launch thanks to its fresh design and upmarket features combining into an affordable value for money package to the customers. Launched in April 2016, within 14 months the car has crossed 1 lakh bookings. The company claims it has delivered more than 65,000 cars to the buyers till date.
Tata Tiago is currently the most awarded compact hatchbacks in the domestic market as it has won 18 renowned accolades. It appears with a fresh design language that is to be visible in future Tata products. The Impact styling philosophy makes the Tiago sporty and stylish compared to the previous Tata products.
Tata Motors says that Tiago has been a game changer for the homegrown auto major and it led the brand’s transformation journey. It hopes demands for the car will grow further and there are reasons to believe so, as pricing of this hatchback has been dropped under GST. Currently, the Tata Tiago is available priced between Rs. 3.22 lakh and Rs. 5.76 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) compared to its pre-GST pricing of Rs. 3.30 lakh and 5.85 lakh.
Tata Tiago has been designed with inputs from the company’s three different design studios located in Pune, UK and Italy. Not only a very attractive design, it incorporates several interesting and upmarket features as well that make the hatchback much more appealing. In terms of space and comfort, it offers a very satisfying experience to the customers.

On the powertrain front, Tata Tiago is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol models draws energy from a 1.2-litre Revotron engine, while diesel model gets power from a 1.05-litre Revotorq unit. Transmission options include both manual gearbox and an AMT unit that enhances its appeal further.
