The custom RE Interceptor 650 has received a blacked out treatment and features an aftermarket LED headlamp, knobby tyres, and tan leather seats
There is no doubt in the fact that the Royal Enfield motorcycles have served pretty much as a blank canvas for the custom bike builders of the world. The good news is that the newly introduced Interceptor 650 is not so different either. The popular custom bike maker Bulleteer customs who are well known across India for some of their wild custom motorcycles have recently given the Interceptor 650 a scrambler styling.
Called the ‘Tandav 650’, the Interceptor 650 scrambler features a number of aftermarket parts and accessory while the blacked out treatment given to the engines and other parts has also made the motorcycle look classy from every possible angle. To begin with, the Interceptor 650 scrambler features an aftermarket full LED headlamp setup that replaced the stock halogen unit of the Interceptor.
The blacked out handlebar goes well with the overall theme of the bike. The stock side indicators at the front are replaced with bar end indicators that have added a clean look to the front profile of the motorcycle. The fuel tank of the Interceptor 650 has received a fresh new paint with Harley Davidson stickers on it additionally the fuel tank also features a knee pad as well.
Besides the new aftermarket headlamp setup, the motorcycle also gets an aftermarket tan coloured seat as well while the short front and rear fenders have helped it achieve a proper Scrambler appearance. The custom Interceptor 650 also features aftermarket tyres with slightly bigger treads.
Last but not least in order to keep the rear profile of the custom motorcycle neat Bulleteer customs have used an aftermarket LED taillamp unit. The aftermarket exhaust setup that too has received a blacked-out treatment as well while the olive green and black finish has helped in adding a stealthy appearance to the motorcycle.
There are no mentions anywhere, whether Bulleteer Customs have made any changes to the engine or not. For your information, the stock Interceptor 650 is powered by a 649 cc, air, and oil cooled, parallel-twin engine. This unit paired with a 6-speed gearbox produces about 47 bhp of peak power at 7250 rpm and 52 Nm of peak torque at 5250 rpm.
